I'm leaning towards male, but I can't say for certain. The epigastric furrow (area between the front book lungs) seems to be blocked by wrinkle in the exuvium. Try rewetting with soapy water or alcohol, smooth out the inside of the abdomen, and try to get a closer, clear picture of the book lung area.
