Lasiodora parahybana juvenile

L. parahybana juvenile with his beloved ex-branch (since confiscated for repeatedly blocking the entrance to his cave, then getting stressed when he was unable to enter it)

Lives on coconut coir / vermiculate substrate.
Oh dear, LPs are interior decorators? Sorry to hear it. My LP sling is too small to move much about at present. However, I put a lot of work into workable but gorgeous vivariums for all my critters, and I DON'T appreciate critical feedback from something with a brain the size of a peppercorn. :p

@Dovey Lol I don't know about all of them. I've only had him, though I've had him since he was a teensy sling and I always strived to setup really nice and natural but functional setups. He shunned this. He would bulldoze everything into a corner or something and just sit on the pile. All my beautifully made tunnels and such gone.. :'(

But yeah, interior decorators? this little fella certainly thinks he is! It's kinda cute looking at this photo when he had his beloved stick cos he was so much smaller and less cocksure. It soon become known as the problem stick because of the before mentioned reason. He's a fair bit bigger and no longer scampers to hide when the noise of the lid unclicking disturbs him in the middle of whatever's going through said peppercorn brain!

Since I've taken the problem stick, he now webs up lots of his substrate and balls it and blocks up the entrace to his hide. Wouldn't really be a problem..... If he was in it. I mean no problem if he wants a few weeks of peace and decides to renovate himself a door. But I decided to feed him and I'm pretty sure him and my B. albopilosum are in premolt right now. They're both refusing food. Anyway, the feeders movement was bothering him and it kept trying to sneak into the substrate so I had to keep grabbing it with my forceps to stop that. He started getting sick of this and decided to go off to his house. Alas he'd just installed a new door and coudn't. So he blames me and impatiently stamps about on top of his cave like a moody teenager. Used the forceps to remove the door and the feeder and he went in.
