I dunno, that certainly looks like a spermatheca at the top of the furrow. See if you can put a piece of paper under it

Turns out you were right, with the piece of paper I could see the flap and two protrusions. They were nearly translucent but definitely there. Thanks!

You are welcome. Perhaps all the moisture was throwing you off. @ first glance for me it looks like a pointy fingernail which made me suspicious. Congrats
