wow and you actually put it into your hand, isn't their venom comparable to some of the other Australian trapdoors? i know its an entirely different genus but still

It is comparable to other Australian trapdoors, all of which are harmless

Definitely a one of a kind look. Microstigmatidae is not a big family, but even so these ones look very different to their fellow genera such as Xamiatus
