On the picture at the place of first book lung pair you can see a shape (not very visable from this picture) similar to a "mouth" part. It is an ellipse shaped part that only females have. It can be wide open or more as a "line" as in this picture presented. (Epigastric furrow)
It is not as visable at other species and it is mostly visible after the tarantula is really big. Mostly you can recognize males faster since they have a triangle shaped arch or dots as epiandrous fusillae.
