2-2.5 inch(?) grammostola pulchra - I know these guys aren't the easiest to ventral sex, but I figured it's worth a shot. His/her abdomen is pure velvet and I don't anticipate a molt soon (but at least s/he's not barricaded anymore!)
Male, there is a hollow triangle above the vent, females have pouches above their vents .
Always check by moult to be 100% but I would say suspect male.

AWESOME thank you! I was thinking male too, but on the "Tarantula Sexing" scale, my skill level is maybe bottom 3% :anxious:

Np vicareux taught me 😊 vi says if it's a boy you can see a hollow triangle above the vent & if it bulges solid like a pouch it's a girl , he did say only applys to new world species though. So far he has been 100% right so I trust his method 😊 I have a 4inch male pulchra too and he has the same triangle so pretty sure but as I said moult sexing is your only 100% way to be sure.
