P. Ornata dorsal shot. Male or female? I've read the the sexual dimorphism on the carapace is very prominent even in younger specimens. Any expertise or input if Greatly appreciated!
How big is this specimen? The dimorphism isn't apparent until they reach about 3" leg span. If it's that big, then I would say female, but if not you'll need to get a shot of the ventral side or wait for it to get bigger.
