Thoughts on this M balfouri? I know there is some sexual dimorphism with this species and they don’t develop tibia hooks.
That's an adult male. A gorgeous one, too. Male tarantulas have a distinct look; much longer, leggier and don't carry the same bulk. Male Monocentropus balfouri commonly have much brighter blues than females and juveniles, also. I'm sure your boy has palpal bulbs. He's mature for sure.
 
Totally normal MM , It's a really beautiful one, you can be happy that you can develope his colour tone onto the next generation :)
