It's not a good time to try to sex ventrally when they're molting - the fluid being pumped between the old and new exoskeletons distorts the appearance of things. Wait until it's done molting and inspect the molt for female parts. You can post pics and we'll help, that way you get a for sure answer. Here are tips for prepping a molt for sexing:
