Maybe with this flash is better?
I posted on your other that it looks like a boy, and I stand by that. It's very purple, though. He should start turning green.

@Thistles
Dang :( yea i was letting their sexual dimorphic nature fool me. When i snagged it at a show, i wasnt aware of when the males start to show the olive green coloring and since it was already getting really purple/blue i was banking on female lol. Got angood deal reguardless and it looks like i will have a MM one of these days in the future for a breeding project lol.

Pretty bummed tho i must say haha

@Thistles
You going by the dot like you can on pokies i assume? Im curious cause im still learning to vent sex accuratly

@Abyss Yes, that's what I looked at. He is very pretty purple! I've raised 2 males before, and I don't remember them being so purple, but it was a few years ago. The dot with the darker ring around it as well as the sort of rectangular shape make me think male. A female would look more triangular and lippy without the dot or dark ring.

@Thistles
Agreed, i am still
Learning vent sexing so wanted to be sure i was noticing the correct things too haha.
You got a female??? Maybe mine can be her date one day lol

my 3.5-4" male is very purple on the underside of the legs, but a dull green brown on the top.

@Venom1080
Hes a solid 3" i would guess close to 4 an still deep purple all over. I was really thinking female due to the dimorphisim but this is the first time he showed me his "belly".

Im bummed of course but i think i have a hot date lined up already haha
