ID ME PLEASE 2

here is a picture without flash to she the true colors... the other pic shows the pattern. I say A. ferina or an Acanthoscurria of some sort... they say PZB... we don't know if WC or CB... she may be a hybrid, but if she's WC that's not likely
I am by no means an expert on tarantulas. Plus photographic coloration and clarity can be misleading. However with all that being written, this T looks very similar to one I'm keeping. My T is as red tinted as your photograph and similarly marked. My T was identified and sold as an Acanthoscurria sp. "Paraguay". In the Arachnogalleries there is an image of an Acanthoscurria sp. "Paraguay" at; http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/gallery/showimage.php?i=17483&c=13. See if that looks like your T.

Also in Arachnopets or the galleries, there are many images of G. pulchrides. Here is one picture example at http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/sho...-pulchripes-Chaco-Gold-Stripes-(Adult-females!) for comparison to your T. I believe that both the markings and the coloration of the G. pulchrides are different then your photo, and hence your T.

Good luck; and let us know what you find out for the final ID. :-D

If this is G. pulchripes, then it's the 'other one' with the split stripes on the patella's that's not often seen in the hobby.

Bill

The only specimens that have been called G. pulchripes and have this pattern that I've seen have been on the internet.
If it is in fact Acanthoscurria, the rings on the knees are a lot more vibrant than I would expect.
