Haplopelma doriae

Adult female, around 17cm leg span. A must have if you are into earth tigers.
Those are some VERY defensive tarantulas.
This particular female is quite defensive compared to my other earth tigers. One gentle touch and she's already flashing them fangs and rearing up. The more feisty they are the more I love them lol
 
I remember reading that supposedly these are the most defensive species in the hobby. Do you agree with that?
Unfortunately, I don't have any first hand experience myself, but the few people I've talked to that do all concur that they're one of the feistier species in the hobby. Now, are they the most defensive species? Maybe, but O. sp Ho Chi Minh DCF certainly gives them a run for the title.
