Desert hairy scorpion or black backed scorpion
Is that kind of scorpion less likely to sting or pinch you? I know nothing about scorpions. :p
 
sorry, i just saw your question, 4 months later!! H. spadix is actually pretty defensive and usually won't hesitate to sting, even spraying venom if it misses. This one was in a mellow mood at the moment, at room temperature. The venom is about as bad as a honey bee.
