H formosus, M/F?

Hapalopus formosus, about 1.5” DLS molt. That lil hump there looks like the developing female bits to me - can anyone confirm? Or tell me I’m totally wrong lol
It's a little blurry to say for certain, but it looks like it's probably female to me. As it grows, the top of that little flap will darken and become sclerotized, as you can see in this example:

I’m gonna keep an eye on her next molts and see how they develop. Thanks!

I wish I could get better pics. My microscope was super cheap and it’s hard to get it in focus very well. Still, it does the job well enough for a simple hobbyist. Much better than trying to do it with just the zoom on my phone camera at least!
