She is stunning! I'm planning on getting my first tarantula soon but I've been undecided on which species to choose. I've narrowed it down to 3 options and pulchra is one of them. This picture reminded me of why they're one of the choices
Definitely! There is something extremely beautiful about a freshly moulted pulchra and she is a particularly pretty one for sure I would be starring at her too!

They are great little things! The downside that i experienced is that they don't get black like this until 2+ inches. However i've found out that their color isn't the only cool thing about them. Mine has an appetite comparable to an A.geniculata (chasing after everything, always eating) , is always active and LOVES to bulldoze the enclosure.

I only have one the morg I got him already at 4 inch unsexed so he has always been black and he is definitely a lover of his food and I can't really compare him to my geniculata tho Mint Humbug is special, not aggressive or bothered about food in the slightest his movements are also robotic but he was rescued from someone that did not care properly for him and was injured when I got him my SO thinks he may have been poisoned at some point too because of the robotic movements my SO has been a collector for 30 years so pretty sure he is right. Humbugs getting better but it is definitely a long process and even after moulting he is still robotic.
