G pulchripes.

My little Grammostola pulchripes coming out to say hello. My first T and ive had it for just over 2 weeks now.
@Caseyface This little beauty has just locked itself away in a piece of log and has webbed up over the top, molt time methinks. Wouldn't a feed for a few days. I'm excited but a bit worried too, I hope everything is ok .:anxious:.

Judging my how it is webbing, it does sound like it is sealing itself away for a safe molt.

My little G. pulchra had been refusing food for a few days, as well. I was halfway through a sentence of, "I bet he is going to molt soon, he hasn-AH, HE MOLTED AGAIN!" This is his second molt in my care. He only just molted on 4/3!! So far Fido has been my fastest grower! They are pretty good at doing what needs to be done and following their T instincts. Molting for little dudes doesn't take as long as adults, so I wouldn't be surprised if it resurfaces faster than you may think!

Do you keep a water in the enclosure? If not, I would recommend wetting a corner, so it has the added moisture. :D

Hi @Caseyface,
Yeah I keep a small waterdish in the enclosure and I give the substrate a light mist yesterday to up the humidity a touch ( not near my baby though ).
Thanks for the advice it is appreciated.:) Fingers crossed and here's to checking the enclosure everyday :anxious:.
