Leg colour
The colours are more vivid and the orange extends into the leg section with smithi. Hamorii have cream rather then orange colour extention To the leg colour
The longer hairs on the legs of Hamorii are usually lighter and more prolific in hamorii.
Smithi do not have what looks like a black flame flicker on the knee which hamorii have.
Carapace
The carapace on Hamorii is usually (not always though) a solid black, whereas the smithi have patterns that often look like a maple leaf but can also look like a b emilia triangle (just like the one in the pic).
Chelicerae
Also, although out of shot, with smithi the chelicerae are all black with just long tan accent hairs, hamorii have way more tan in there base hairs.
Disclaimer
Obviously without spermathecae analysis, these are all just visual clues, but having owned hundreds of all the Brachypelma, the one pictured is in my estimation without doubt a Brachypelma smithi.
Thought I would share examples of carapace patterns from 4 of my AF B smithi (CITES). All pictures taken Jan 22. PS. I know this is not an accurate way to ID B smithi from B hamorii but the patterns are interesting nonetheless I think on each of these individuals.
