First T eggsac!

@cold blood I pulled after 30 days but they were still all eggs, is that an issue or should they be fine in a sealed container with damp paper towel?

They should be in an incubator....your description is close though, and would probably suffice as long as theyre kept on the warmer side (70-84f).

If they start looking...well, raggity (for lack of a better description), this is a good sign they could molt soon to EWLs.

@cold blood yes the temperatures here at the moment are around that normally, so hoping the should be alright. I've folded the cut over again so the eggsac is more or less closed, but will monitor them for any signs of molting. Thx again for all the help

@RezonantVoid Unfortunately, they shouldn't be covered by damp towels, this could easily kill them, they should just be sitting on the towels.

Ideally they would be on a deli cup, filled with water and covered with cloth...

Best of luck! Assume they are still good and go from there.

You may be able to see the developing spiders within the eggs if you carefully backlight them.

@cold blood I didn't cover them with the paper towel, just pulled the eggsac silk back over the incision. However, there were like 6-7 different layers of silk, it'd be tough to try and candle them through all of that lol

@RezonantVoid They should be removed from the egg sac.

Keeping them in the sac would mean they would need to be rolled constantly.

Get them out of the sac.

you can see above how I have them spread out....that pic was taken just as the eggs molted to EWLs (you can see the egg "shells" still clinging to them)....which are still immobile.
