Actually how do centipedes grow?!! I assume they molt but ive never seen anything like a centipede molt in my life, unlike the spiders who leave thiers in our garage...
@Staehilomyces can ethmostigmus rubripes really grow longer than 25 cm? Because Australian Museum and Wikipedia say they grow up to 16cm, the current size of my own rubripes.
@patrick nimbs Well, my biggest rubripes is 175mm (not including terminal legs either) so there's that busted. Also, there's a pic of one on BowerBird next to a ruler, measuring 190mm.
I've never seen a confirmed pic of a 200mm+ rubripes, but I've heard of them reaching that size from multiple collectors who I have no reason to suspect of lying.
