This fella just molted a bit ago. They shred their molt so I can never grab it. Hopefully someone can help sex em. They’re an Avicularia aviculara.
Looks just like mine, and according to last molt im leaning female on mine. Where is my teacher: @NMTs ? ;)
I can't tell when they're upside down like that...

I'm going with male on this one, actually. Avics are hard to sex ventrally, but usually at this size the females have very obvious, almost puffy lips on their gonoslit. I don't see those here, and it looks like there is a small patch of fusillae anterior to the epigastric furrow. It's possible the light or the angle is tricking us, so definitely confirm with a molt if you can ever get hold of one.

okay thank you! It looks big in the picture but it’s around 2 inches, so I’ll stick with male for now and check the next molt to be sure.

If you are able to check the molt, I would sure appreciate if you would update us. I'm fairly confident sexing almost every type of T ventrally, but Avics still make me double and triple guess myself. Would be nice to know if I got this right or wrong... (hopefully for you, I'm wrong!)

Yea I’ll definitely post a reply the next time it molts. Which might take a bit because it just molted 5 days ago. Fingers crossed.😂
