I’m kinda leaning male just cause the patch of hairs, where the epiandrous fusillae are normally, here seem to be a little bit lighter of a color than the surrounding and higher up anterior and posterior hairs. But that being said I have no reference to know what they should look like for this species. It just doesn’t scream female either.
@Smotzer Right? And I have females of other species whose lady area looks a little bit like this. I've never been able to get a good look at the ventral area on my C leetzi because it just stays in its burrow, but I don't think it looks quite like this.
I think I have until next March or so with it if it's male, which is fine. It's a beautiful spider.
