yup, matts a really cool guy. so far its doin pretty good and its made a web like a sack which makes me think its actually a purseweb spider of some kind
@TrapdoorSpiderLover You are correct in this being a purseweb spider. The spider pictured is a spider from the family Atypidae (pursewebs). Atypids have incredible large chelicerae and fangs in relation to the body length with short stumpy legs. Exactly what the spider in the picture looks like.

Unfortunately we don't get any purse webs like this stunner, closest we get are probably wishbones but they are far off nonetheless.
@TrapdoorSpiderLover they are there, just gotta look in the right spots. Actually heading to America for about 4 weeks on the 19th so really hoping to get an opportunity to see some wild ones along the way
