This week two of our (my groups) dogs were gone for a bit on 3 occassions....my Dolly was one of these dogs...we knew they were on a deer carcass as their breath smelled like venison....lol.
Today I followed Dolly and caught her...and located the problem carcass.
I don't hunt, fishing is more my thing...I like that I can release the fish unharmed...hard to do with a 30-06 or an arrow...lol. Nothing against hunting, I do love the venison.
My area has an unreal deer population....New York has its rats, Chicago has its cockroaches...Oak Creek, WI has deer in similar abundance.
@cold blood I know the deer problem, but in my area it's mainly wild boar - and they can be really dangerous. Packs of wild boars or even single males have been responsible for a few dog's death... (btw, what do you call a pack of boars in English?)
