There are over fifty so far and still coming out will know for sure in a few days. They are not with there mother she is in a separate tank with her other sack. I will keep them until winter is over and then release or give away most of them and keep a few.
Sounds good! I found this (very) old thread, http://arachnoboards.com/threads/any-good-sites-where-i-can-buy-a-black-widow-spider.226281/ looks like there is some interest in buying them, I don' know if it would be worth the trouble, but just thought I'd share in case you were interested or looking to raise some extra funds for the hobby, i know widows are petty hardy spiders but not sure how they would being shipped this time of year, or what is required as far as packaging them properly. Then again, simply just observing them for a time then releasing them is a rewarding enough experience in and of itself.
@Dawnes1221 I've thought about selling them but I would have to write out contracts relinquishing me from liability if someone was bitten plus shipping by USPS is prohibited so FedEx if shipping any venomous animals. They sell for about fifteen a piece then I would have to separate all brothers and sisters to avoid inbreeding to avoid sterility and aggressiveness. It's a really long process but it could be worth it.
