Mine has gotten more fluffy as time goes on. She is the only tarantula in my collection I am comfortable handling other than my b emilia but i rarely do that anyways
@Sinned I've often wondered if she's the "true curly hair" myself, but I've compared pictures of her to pictures of the Nicaraguan variant and the N. Curly Hairs seem to have much lighter colored hairs, almost white, while hers are a more golden/caramel color.
@Goopyguy56 I agree! Mine is much fluffier since she molted a few weeks ago. I have handled her occasionally, which she is very patient for, but does not seem to really enjoy being handled, so I only do it very rarely to get some nice pictures. I'm waiting patiently for my E. sp. red slings to reach a decent size, because I've heard of how curious they are.
I have read that the nic version is a little more nervous than the typical hobby b. Albo. Supposedy, the hobby version is a hybrid instead of 100% B albo. I am a little skeptical that this is true. There are hybrids but i doubt every or even most hondurans found in the hobby are descendants of a hybrid cross. There are variants found in nature. Not sure if we will ever find out the real story though.
