about a month or so after the 2nd molt in my care. She was still blue before this molt. Normal to lose blue completely? Also I'm wondering if the coloring is usually this, um, drab at this stage?... another q, been a week or even 2 rehoused, and still no webbing, normal?
Judging by the abdomen pattern and mirror patch I'd say yours looks to be around the same size as my juvenile.
They change from blue to purple at around 2.5-3" and the transitional instar looks a bit weird but yours looks really muted in colour, definitely doesn't look normal but it's nothing life-threatening, will probably go back to normal on her next moult.
As for the webbing, that varies, some web up straight away, my SAF hasn't really bothered, she's content to chill on the cork background of her Exo Terra.
@The Grym Reaper, yea saw your posting of your girl and i was like wow mine doesn't like that! I did read there's some variation in color. Funny thing I wanted a minatrix and well that how mine looks now lol
a murderer she is... she's up there with the GBB with the sheer speed of pounce, she could eat every day if she could. hopefully, she'll molt more color but if not I'll love her the same. How many more molts before mature? she's growing pretty quick it seems.
Not sure, I think they max out somewhere between 5 and 6 inches, Phoenix went from about 2cm to 3 inches within a year and Mileena went from 2 inches to over 3.5 inches in roughly the same amount of time (I think she might be mature in another moult or two). They seem to have a pretty decent growth rate.
