Steatoda triangulosa (triangulate cobweb spider) had her first molt in capticity

She just had her first molt in captivity now here she is in all her annoying cobweb producing glory (jk I love her) just gave her a nice juicy meal worm as a congratulation present (and it was the only thing I had to feed her)
Lol She had just finished eating the meal worm before I took this pic and now she's having a hard time bringing it to a spot to save it for later

The abdomen on this genus is stunning, for a common house spider, there's nothing common about that abdomen, nice find.

@mconnachan thanks man we got a lot of house spiders in the house catching the flies and I had just gotten back from vacation and I had to release my spiders (there were 5 at the time) she was the biggest one meaning she'd eat well and was perplexed when I saw her... just figured out what she was today
