Looks like a Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica. Harmless to you and your hair, but not so harmless to your local plants. I get them flying into my hair sometimes too. Lol

@PidderPeets you've got that right, these guys eat up quite a bit of my plants. Still really pretty to look at though.

@Moakmeister I've heard that some people call them that, but we have another beetle called a June beetle/bug by me
