It was raining last night and I found this girl struggling in an empty flower pot that was half filled with water. I think it's some sort of fishing spider, it's about 2.5 inches wich is very large for spiders around here. Offered it some food/shelter and will be releasing it back outside tonight.
Wikipedia tells me there's only nine species of Dolomedes in North America. I feel I've been issued a challenge, and I shall return shortly with my best guess! (Which will actually probably be the wrongest species I can find)
