the first feeding after a molt is the best one

So is this a smithi because it used to be an annitha, or is it a hamorii that used to be a smithi? If only they had friggin used two original names instead of giving smithi to the annitha i wouldn't have to ask that smh

Science cares about the truth not the confused hobbyists. ;) Blame the original exporters and dealers they're the ones that got it wrong in the first place. The original smithi specimens described are what we call in the hobby annitha, which was described 100 years after smithi in the 1990's along with hamorii. Our hobby smithi has turned out to be hamorii. Thank Jorge Mendoza for bringing us the truth. :)

@CEC oh, FINALLY someone sheds some light on this. All they're doing is clarifying the real names, then. It's not even an actual name change lol. I legit just thought they were changing the names for the heck of it. As I said in the announcement thread, "That's like if I had twins named Larry and Jackson, and I could never tell them apart, so I changed their names to Matthew and Larry, respectively. Then I'm like "yay! Now I'll never confuse the two of you!" :banghead::banghead::banghead:
