My Scutigera Coleoptrata consuming its shed. Interestingly he only ate about a 1/4th to a 1/3rd of it and then abandoned it, compared to Scolopendra that from what I understand usually eat the whole thing.
Great picture and a very cool pede. We use to have these in our old house, I had one run across my face one night while sleeping. Yeah, it woke me up!!
@Chris LXXIX I actually caught this one in my shower being batted around by my cat ha ha. I've always been weirdly fond of the little guys so I decided to try and keep him as an experiment... now I'm terribly attached. Oops!
@soldierof4cheese My house is full of them... sometimes they run across my bedroom ceiling at night while I'm trying to sleep which used to terrify me when I was a kid, but now I just think they're cute.
