I'm going to guess female because of what I have read and seen based on that reddish spot in the middle, but I would love a more trained eye looking at it!
Awesome! I was thinking male at first but then got a backlight and it showed what looked like the start of the spermatheca (?). Happy to hear that thanks! @KezyGLA
@KezyGLA I've spent some time looking at others and all the male cyans that I've seen are straight all the way across the furrow with nothing forming off of it. I'm in the same boat as you with being pretty certain but not 100% yet. Hopefully one more molt will be enough to truly tell! I sadly do not have access to a microscope to get a good view of it but this hobby is tempting me into getting one
