Common...we don't have alligators here, they're much further south. About 5 years ago when I was working for the DNR, I rescued 12 that hatched on halloween morning (which means extreme cold right around the corner) in a parking lot where they were being run over at an alarming rate. Over the years all his siblings have been released into prime locations. This was the most aggressive and the one that showed no fear of humans...so he became a keeper.

lmao sounds like the ones i recued.. i let all go around the river different times of the year but kept one who was more neglected when i got her... ..want a ~6" girl who will eat the filter intake if you let her near it? LMAO [shes broken 4 intakes for canister filters and has to just have the tube bearly in the water or its lunch lol]
