@KellyFornez that happens quite often in this hobby. I myself have done it but only because I didn't molt sex it myself. I went off of the word of the person I purchased from or traded with. Now, I don't make that mistake anymore. I molt sex to confirm. I am also very good at ventral sexing with "most" species but that's still not always 100% accurate. When I make a mistake, I am swift at correcting it and making it right. I hope this person does the right thing and makes it right by you.
@Casey K I've definitely learned that lesson, too. When I go to expos now, I never trust the dealer. Oh, it's a female? Let me check the ventral sex. I've actually caught a dealer selling a "subadult female" pokie that was obviously a male. Naturally, it was just 'mislabeled'.
I get most of my Ta frol expo i took this T from someone in my home town that had 2 b.vagans and a g.rosea at 1st he was claiming all 3 were B. Vagans. When i came to geab the Ts they were in pretty crappy conditions. I left this one in her old enclosure only because i saw she was close to molting. Ill post more pics aftwr work thank you everyone.
@Casey K I didn't want to say anything without seeing the whole spider, but I agree... this doesn't look like a vagans. At that size, the red rump should be prominent, even with a ventral shot. I'm also standing by the male guess, and if I'm right, it is far too stocky to be a male B. vagans.
@KellyFornez, do you have a picture of the spider before the molt?
@EulersK looks like L. pary to me.....hard to tell, though....that does appear to be epiandrous fusillae on the furrow but I would need a clear pic of that area to be sure....
