Yeah, I wish I could have gotten a clearer picture. I don't handle him/her and he/she never stays up for long enough to really adjust the light.
And I was looking in the wrong spot apparently. That doesn't help. The area in question is completely in shadow here, isn't it? Shoot.
I'm leaning towards female, but I'm not very good at this. The photo is good enough for someone to weigh in with more experience at this. The other one is good too.
