Aphonopelma Sp. New River or Aphonopelma Chalcodes?

Not sure If I posted the earlier pictures, so here they are, sorry if it's a re-upload. I purchased her from a friend and he was never able to find out whether she was a A. Sp. New River or A. Chalcodes, hoping you guys might know, thanks
Oh man from the thumbnail I thought the flower pot was your finger and I was like holy wow what has that kind of coloring when it's so little and where can I get it?? My bad :p

They are the same: A. chalcodes "New River." I believe European collectors were/are somewhat confused by the fact that New River, AZ produces some mighty fine chalcodes and assumed they must be a flashier separate species. Not so. I have a mature male sitting on my nightstand right now that I' d wear as a broach to church tomorrow if he'd sit still and behave. His abdominal hairs are so red they are almost purple, and his carapace is the color of a shiny new penny. He's a real looker, and his New River bona fides are as sound as they come, his being "wild rescued" off of our dog run tonight on Gaffney Road in New River, but he's an Az Blond "as sure as shootin'."
