@Sarkhan42 Eh, coloration is not very useful when ID'ing this genus, and varies from individual to individual. Some LP's are browner than others, some are redder than others, etc. Definitely genus Lasiodora though.
@BobBarley LPs aren't black or the smokey gray like the others(at least to a discernible extent), at that size at least. The abdomen absolutely varies greatly. I would agree a very difficult to ID genus.
@BobBarley klugi have much redder abdomen yes, in general, but up until about 3-4 inches are nearly identical in color. The rest of the Klugi however becomes a much clearer black or gray at that size as well, which makes them easy to ID when large.
