Northern Gold in it's habitat. This Species is accustomed to lower temperatures than most T's of it's kind for this reason it's an incredibly slow moving spider. In nature they are opportunistic borrowers that live in rocky areas. While this girl is eating a superworm right now she spends some of her time in her hide but most of the time you will find her resting on the rock bed. before I introduced these stones to her habitat she spent her time evenly split between her hide and perched up in the corner of the walls feet off the dry substrate. the rocks have made her very happy.
This species is incredibly docile, slow, and long lived. reaches 4.5" - 5.5" at maturity
