I found this little girl behind some siding on a house I was doing over she was protecting her egg sac
I'm almost certain that's an araneus diadematus also known as the cross orbweaver. I've kept some females as pets over the years before I got into old world T's, they make awesome pets despite being a seasonal species; at least here in Ontario. I love those massive geometrical webs they make, they also seem to have a never-ending appetite even as little spiderlings. Here's a link to a picture I used as a reference -they do come in a myriad of colours as well: araneus diadematus.
