I was given a few tarantulas, one without an ID, and I'm more of a centipede kinda person so I've no idea myself. It's been suggested it could be Brachypelma boehmei or Aphonopelma paysoni.
Second not B boehmei. Could be Aphonopelma paysoni or maybe bicoloratum, or maybe some others. If it's a female your best bet is to get a look at the spermathecae and compare with known specimens.
One of many different but similar looking USA Aphonopelma, mostly from Arizona region, A. paysoni is not a valid species, that is a hobby name for A. sp "Paysoni". It could be that, or A. sp "New River", A. sp "flagstaff" or one of the various ones missold as A.chalcodes etc ... unless you know where in the wild its from, you're not going to get further than several options such as those. Certainly not any Brachypelma, nor A.bicolouratum.
