p.pederseni?

traded random person said he had ghost orn. so ya no lines on other side of abdomen so just curious if anyone would like to double verify its a p. pederseni and help me out
you need to get a ventral pic of the leg banding. That is the key to identifying Poeci.

That's not P.rufilata (I can guarantee that)
But as grayzone says, you will need a ventral pic.

tbh looks like a male regalis. the pattern on the carapace do not match penderseni. i have a nice key for carapace patterns/leg banding of pokies, i will post in "tarantula chat" forums now.

@Arienette

I still feel that most P. Regalis males tend to have a slight, yellowish hue on the first leg pair that seems to be fairly consistent. I might be wrong, however, but I've weighed the two species against as many images I possibly can and have found one of each (Regalis and Pederseni) that look vaguely similar to the image of above:

P. Regalis (male) - http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/6844/pregalis1.jpg

P. Pederseni (male) - http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c190/karma_andeffect/CIMG1182.jpg

See what you think.

i usually dont trust images from hosted sites like photbucket and imageshack to be correct IDs either way...
thats just me though.

Alright, and I can honestly understand that. I only posted those two because I had suggested above that I viewed a multitude of different images from different sites to compare to the original image above to be identified. The two I posted were just better versions of the images I had viewed on more valid sites, is all.
