I got this spider from a friends husbands. It was in a small container marked shy. He didn't know anything about it. I've had this T about 7 months. I'd say the size is roughly 4 inches.
When I had looked up E. Campestratus their stripes looked more tan/yellow. Mine has much white stripes. Do they have a varied color? They are simalar to Seemanni.
They can vary in colour a little. I'd agree that it does look like E. campestratus though. It looks like the spider in the pics has a swollen leg IV, which is a good indicator of Eupalaestrus. which shows the swollen leg quite well. Not sure if E. larae are in the hobby in the states, but in the UK we had 'E. sp. Itapua' imported a couple of years ago, which may well be what's now described as E. larae.
A seemani has orange spinnerets and this spider does not appear to have that. This looks to be a little to dark, especially on the prosoma, to be A seemani (based on the image provided). I vote E campestratus.
