A. versicolor

Darn Versis keep crunch their molts. This one was a "Display T" for halloween and I noticed that he/she was in a perfect pose - note this is after drinking alot of water.
Can anyone tell me M/F from this? TY.
Thanks.

Can anyone tell me "why" though? Is it just because the T apperently doesn't have that "dark thratch" (I thought not all species had that apperent though.) OR is there something about the um "fold" ?

I want to get an idea on how to sex these guys on my own in the future. (seeing that I can't get a decent molt on them)

I have another Verci that was sexed female by someone else - that molted recently - and of course the molt was crumpled. she/he's ab is too small right now to get a decent pic but I'm thinking when she/he plumps back up a bit of putting a pic up here too.

female for my vote well.

Id say so based off the over all shape of the fusillae (females to me usually appear trapezoid shaped, rather then boxy or arched)

and the "lips" on the fold (best way i can put it)
I dont really look for book lung spacing with Avics the way i would for , say, Poecilotheria.

Just remember, vent sexing is not always accurate.

yes I know... but I had a A. purpura go MM at smaller then these... so I'm hoping. (I have another that had been sexed F in the past... she just molted and is skinny... and I couldn't do a thing with that molt either.)

Thanks for your reply and explanation. (though I'm not sure what area constitutes the fusillae exactly - I think there is a thread on here that explains better so I'll look for that.)
