I had one sold to me as a blue femur as well. After searching, it actually is a Euthalus sp. red (or possibly yellow or orange - based on where they're found in Peru). In any case it is a wonderfully sweet spider and never minds being handled. Only other point is it is always sling size, maybe 1.5 inches. At first I was going to send it back to the pet store, but glad I decided against that. I did however get a refund back on some of the cost due to it not being the blue femur which should cost more.
from Chile, and they're not Euathlus.. but thats the name they're elsewhere sold as, so go with that until a proper paper on the topic. Certainly not the blue-femur sp also from Chile.
