Brachypelma boehmei
About 4,5cm diagonal leg span

Female?
Immediately following a molt isn't the best time to sex ventrally. I'm leaning towards male, but it would be good to check again after it hardens fully in a couple weeks. You couldn't recover the molt to check?

I just got it that day The molt with it sadly was completely destroyed.
I just took the chance to snap a picture while it was wandering around the enclosure... and then noticed how freshly molted it was. It has since locked itself up in it's hide.

Wow! Did you pick it up from a shop or receive it in a package? Either way, the seller shouldn't have been transporting it when it was that freshly molted - glad you were able to get it home without any damage (hopefully). I'm sure it'll come out in a couple weeks and we'll be able to get a better look.

I picked it up at a expo....and am not even sure if it had already molted then or decided to do so and shred the molt on the about 1 hour drive home. I admit that I didn't check for a molt being in with it when I picked it up. But I feel like it should not have been sold in premolt either. Anyway it looks like it got home safe. But it kicked hairs in rehousing - poor thing must have felt so vulnerable!
