Phlogius Hirsutus female
They're an Australian tarantula from the Eungella ranges, approximately 100km west of Mackay Queensland
Aussie T's are so elusive, I love them! This genus actually has a very specific peptide in their venom called "Phlotoxin" (named after their Phlogius) that does have some medicinal properties. Neat little guys!!
