The reason i ask, apart from not knowing the answer, is it is not very big, 5 inches leg span at the most, and does not have a big appiteite.
Also the bulbous pedipalps and tibial hooks are visible. But only since the second to last moult.
Thanks
Thanks. I have been looking at vagans, and that seems to be the most likely candidate.
Both temperament and size wise he fits the bill.
Thanks for your help.
no its absolutely not B.vagans. They only get hooks and bulbs after the final moult, its adult male, no matter whether you think its small or not. So, why isnt it L.parahybana? It sure looks like a Lasiodora to me..
i dont think its small. it is small.
I asked on here because i thought people would know either way.
I did not say it is not lasiodora. i dont know. thats why im asking. The books i read and the net claim they are fast growing with big appitites. this one does not seem to be either fast growing or much of an eater. Its 5 years old and smaller than my chile rose.
I know its an adult male that is not what im asking.
I thought at first was a L.parahybana but then i guessed not being bought in 2007 5 yrs that thing would of probably been dead by now being mature male !
The l.parahybana's ive had were mature before 2 yrs and big and lanky not plump like a female!
