Lolanthe
Phormictopus dominican purple saf.
I accept your worm n counter offer with a very lazy threat pose πŸ™„. Phormictopus πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.
Haha the obligatory phormic threat pose. Remember how I said mine was a pet rock? Guess she was just settling in before she showed her true self cause over the past few weeks she's turned demonic haha, she'll come out of her burrow to threat and slap at me if I even get near her enclosure :astonished:

Yer πŸ˜† I think once they settle they show their true colours, my girl was like yours so shy n sweet when she came moulted n boom everything must die 🀣. You'll get used to her all my phormictopus are crazy like that doesn't matter how much room hides or sub depth I give. It's why I adore them, just the right amount of stunning and crazy 😁.

Other keepers have said that dom purples are psycho even amongst phormics, worst of the genus I've kept were cancerides those guys always had a 'tude perhaps she'll give them a run for their money. Keeping in line with the molting you mentioned I think the behavioral change may have to do with molt cycle, 99% sure she's in premolt (hiding alot more, lethargic, no interest in food, dulled colour etc), will be interesting to see if she follows the trend of your lass post-molt.

Tbh Lolanthe is tame compared to my sp blue Dori. She flips between escape and I will kill you πŸ˜†. I have a 4 phormictopie now my auratum is a little sweet he just loves his food, bayahibe hides 24/7 loves to dig, dom purple is sassy likes to throw a pose for me, but sp blue, Dori, it was 100% the right name, girl doesn't know if she's coming or going but she's mean with it.
I have 110 t's from nw to ow as you know, n I only have 2 vivs I am dubious about fully opening, one is my Daphne my Sericopelma sp Bouquete she's 7.5 + inches of hates my guts will try n get me through the glass if i touch her viv actuallycomes out of her burrowto get me πŸ˜†, n Dori my sp blue πŸ˜‚.
I can't resist a t with tude though, who wants a rock when you can have a stunning t that makes your heart pump πŸ˜‚.

Most of mine are rocks I'm pretty fortunate or maybe unfortunate from your perspective haha. Your sp. Bouquete Daphne and my younger AF b. albiceps cookie sound like they'd get on, need to start a T anger management class haha.

Yes girl has issues, she's well housed, has her burrow she dug, I even keep her in the quietest spot so she isn't disturbed, she still hates me with every bit of floof on her body πŸ˜†, she literally rushes out of her burrow across her viv flings herself at the glass, fangs out legs up. I have no idea if it's the sp or just her πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ.

πŸ˜† my little albiceps male was crazy too! Hated everything. They are 100% the crazy Brachypelma πŸ˜‚
