This beautiful beast of a T is my neighbor this week. Her burrow entrance was under a tree root, and I had to stick my twig about 12" straight down to tickle her out for a pic. Monteverde, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica.
Sí, señor. For a couple more days. Was in the cloud forest, now I'm in Guanacaste province, looking at different spiders next to the beach. Will post pics of those soon, too! Boehmei... SMH.

Never been to CR YET. Will hit Osa Peninsula, and maybe Mounterverde.
Ideally, I'd like to see some PDFs in CR. I've never seen PDFs in the wild yet. They were in Ecuador way UP in the canopy, and that was not something we had access to. Some species do come down to the ground floor, but I haven't seen it yet. I've only seen pictures from our guide.

This is the second time I've been, but the first was 15 years ago and I wasn't really into T's as much back then. We're already making plans for the next trip, though...
Didn't see any PDF's in Monteverde other than the ones on display at a wildlife adventure park, but did see lots of tree frogs and regular aquatic frogs. I'll probably make a thread with the decent pics I take of the wildlife down here - it really is amazing and deserves to be shared!
