Poecilotheris sp. Lowland
Hello everybody :)!

My still tiny Poecilotheria sp. Lowland put a new molt out for me to take a look, if it is big enough now to determine the sex- it is not a full year old now.

The difficult operation went quite well considering the small molt, and I would like to ask if I can assume that this is a female? In my opinion, the small white mound between the upper book lungs is a spermatheca? The legspan is still very small at 5 cm/ about 2 inches diagonal, so I hope that fits?

This pic is not clear enough for me to say for certain - it looks like maybe the wrong side of the molt? I know this was a couple days ago, but if you still have the exuvia, make sure that you're looking at the inside of it.

Thanks for your reply.
The molt/ part of interest is so tiny and my microscope not the best. And i am not the born fine mechanic, but was sure to have gotten the right side. Unfortunately it ripped more apart as it dried, so i guess i 'll have to wait until the next molt then.
